Mrs. Elfreda Christine Weir, 70, of Rt. 1, died at Culver Hospital at 5:20 p.m. Monday (May 24th). She had been there two days. She was born July 1, 1894, in Indianapolis to Henry and Christine Heinie. She was married to Arlie Weir July 21, 1915, in Indianapolis. She worked as a bookkeeper in Indianapolis before her marriage. She and her husband lived in Indianapolis, Terre Haute and Philadelphia before moving to the present address in 1948. She was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Kiewitt of Indianapolis and Mrs. Bertha Chappell of Franklin. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bright Funeral Home Rev. John R. Servies will officiate. Burial will be at Weir Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. -- kbz
